Jeff started in radio at the age
of 18. He has worked at stations in the South, New England and
Ohio before coming to Perryton in September of 1998.
He currently hosts the Morning
Show on KEYE-AM. Jeff likes to bring his listeners the
stranger events of that particular day and reports on wacky news
events. Jeff also has an extensive background in play-by-play
announcing, and won three awards from the Massachusetts Associated
Press. He broadcasts Perryton Ranger baseball in the spring, and
Canadian High School football and basketball in the fall and winter.
A native of New Castle,
Pennsylvania, and received broadcast training in Pittsburgh.
He enjoys returning to that area twice a year to visit his family.
"I guess I was the adventurous one," he says. "No one else in the
family ever left the area."
Before deciding on a radio
career, he also considered going into music education, having played
several brass instruments while in high school.
In his spare time, Jeff enjoys
reading, especially Civil Ward history and alternative history.
He's a big fan of the History Channel, but also likes Discovery, TLC
and Animal Planet.
