While you can download a full schedule of academic and CE/CS classes from the Perryton Campus page of our website (www.fpctx.edu), some upcoming events are described below.

It’s time for the children to go back to school, we can help you cope! If you want to have fun or learn things you passed by earlier, Ballroom and Country Dancing with Cynthia DeArmond starts on September 11. Ron Bishop will be teaching Microsoft Word beginning August 28, and Adult Astronomy will begin in October. We will offer basic crochet with Myrtle Ware and advanced crochet with Rene Schwalk as soon as we have six paid participants. Call for information.

If frustration has you steaming, the Anger Resolution Seminar will be every second Friday night/Saturday. Anyone who wants to learn to deal with anger in a healthy way can come, but it also fulfills court requirements for the training. The final class in our Addiction-Things I Wish I’d Known series is Tuesday, August 14, from 7-9 p.m. on the Identification. It has been both inspirational and chilling.

For children, Ron Bishop is offering a Computer Camp four-part series Mondays, beginning August 27, for students 8 years old and up; each night is a different topic, and the cost is $15 per night.

Continuing Education/Community Service coming attractions include DYI Home Repair, Digital Photography, Excel, Concealed Handgun, Home Business Basics, ESL classes, and Introductory Welding. Call 648-1450, or email Bobette at bdoerrie@fpctx.edu to sign up or offer suggestions for classes. For adults, we just need 6 interested people and a teacher with a skill; no degree is required.
